What You Should Look For in a PTCB Book in 2021 and Beyond
Here are some of the topics you should look for when studying a PTCB book. Focus on these topics and the detailed information that comes with them and you will be in good shape to pass the exam. Look for these topics in either a book or a study guide.

What is the Best Book to Study for the PTCB Exam? (PTCB Exam Book Checklist)
Here is a list of things you should look for when picking your book to study for the pharmacy technician exam:
- The book is up to date (2 years or less)
- Book has produced proven results for others.
- The book has direct information and not a bunch of fluff.
- Book has highly challenging material
Here is a list of things you DO NOT want when picking your book to study for the pharmacy technician exam:
- Over 2 years old
- Has a bunch of fluff (i.e. anatomy, etc.)
- Has terrible reviews that are questionable
- Very easy practice exams in the book
PTCB Practice Test (In Your Book)
Of course you also want ptcb practice test and answers in the practice test, and you want to make sure that the answers are correct and not full of error.
Because again… This will still do you know good when it comes to your official test date.
Like I mentioned above, make sure that the practice test are HARD.
Easy practice test will do nothing but make you “feel” like you are ready, and then when you get to the actual test date, you will be shocked at how hard the actual questions are.
